I have been a professional trader since 2006. In 2012 I started my own proprietary trading firm and had been managing the trading floor since then while trading full time.

As the world goes remote many proprietary traders prefer to trade from the comfort of their homes or from a remote location. The busy and noisy trading floors are not for anyone, but we can’t dismiss the benefits they can give you- discuss and source excellent trading ideas from your colleagues and compare your trading performance to theirs. It is an excellent environment for both developing traders and experienced traders who are willing to substantially improve their results. After all, we all spend hours in front of the screens, why don’t we try to make the most of our screen time?

This trading community is most appropriate for active hedge fund managers, professional traders, and CTAs. This is NOT a community for passive investors. We will NOT discuss any long-term investments or their fundamentals. The focus is on patterns researched and developed on our trading floor. The time frame is spanning from intra-day trading to 2-4 weeks. We pride ourselves in our very active trade management approach which helps us have very shallow draw downs with substantial upside. Active traders will find tremendous value in this community.

WHO ARE WE:

We are a group of short-term swing traders trying to find skewed risk to reward trades.  We often consider the current sentiment in the markets and try to identify extremes often acting contrarian to popular opinion. This has never been an issue for us due to our tight risk management and willingness to quickly cut losers if we are proven wrong by the price action.

As short-term traders we believe that sentiment, price action, trade management and properly constructing your trade are far more important than simply guessing what will happen next. You can guess the direction and still not get the maximum of the trade.  Whatever the circumstances our top priority will always be to keep our PnL drawdowns very tight. We do have drawdowns, we do have losers, but we are relentless at cutting them early. We are not experts in macro trends or macro trading strategies.

OUR FOCUS:

On the twitter feed we are sharing various trading patterns, mostly aimed at identifying extremes. We use credit or options to express a particular view and take active approach in managing each trade depending on current market sentiment. On the credit side we mostly do pair trades and participate in the primary markets. We use options in equities and ETFs when we have a particular conviction.
